YPP - WORKING GROUP - OUTREACH TO GOVERNMENT
The Young Physicists Governmental Outreach Division was
established to facilitate communications between young physicists
and the government on issues that affect the scientific community.
To accomplish this goal, the Governmental Division will:
- Assist YPP members in contacting their representatives in the
national and local government
- Provide information regarding current legislation of interest
to the physics community

Past Activities:
- August 2001: We drafted a letter to Congress signed by young
physicists. The effort was organized by Todd Adams
(tadams16@fsu.edu) from
Florida State Universiy.
