Highlights:
We decided on an interim representative body which now takes control until the end of the 6 month interim period. The executive committee will be a subset of the representative body to be voted in by the representative body. We made lots of progress on a mission statement and bylaws, Michel wills end them around asap. These should be voted in by the representative within the 6 month interim period. We also set up working groups.

Organizational Structure of the YPP:
1) Name: The word Panel in YPP suggests to some a body appointed by a higher group. There was also concern that our name did not specifically refer to particle physics. It was voted on that the name is now: Young Particle Physicists (YPP).

2) Michel Sorel went through the bylaws. He will send around an updated version of them. The basic YPP structure, outlined in detail in the bylaws, is to have YPP chapters around the world wherever there is interest in forming one. Each chapter elects/appoints a representative to sit on the representative body. An executive committee comprised of some number of people from the representative body is elected by the representative body. The representative body meets to admit new YPP chapter, approve an annual budget and vote on any changes to the bylaws. All other organizational tasks are left to the executive committee. Working groups are formed for Outreach to the public, outreach to governments, globalization, young physicists issues etc, please see below. YPP membership to each chapter is determined by each individual chapter.

3) An interim representative body has been elected by the group attending this meeting to get the organization up and running. The interim period will last for six months during which time the bylaws should be voted in.
